I see much of life through glass...or as it would appear through glass. Not the glass of a window, but rather through the lens of a camera. This is my photo-a-day blog for 2009.
Painting Project - the first wall of my living room that I painted. Still have a few pieces of wall and all the trim to do in that room, plus the stairway and the "hall."
Dinner...I'm not feeling inspired photographically tonight. This is my dinner: yellow squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, spinach, garlic (I usually use fresh, but I was lazy and used the jarred stuff), ramen noodles (without the seasoning), tofu - cooked in a bit of olive oil, a splash of soy sauce and a hell of a lot of Cholula. It's true...Cholula makes everything better. :)
Strange sighting....an onion laying innocently in the landscaping of a Wendy's parking lot. How could I not take a photo? I know...it would have been better if I'd gotten the Wendy's sign in the photo, but that wasn't possible.
The moon as an afterthought...I wasn't sure about this photo at first b/c it pretty much shatters the ROT. But I like it b/c it breaks the rules (hehe) and because the lines draw the eye up, and THEN you notice "oh...there's the moon." This was taken around 1pm this afternoon in the middle of Cary, NC. I was on a mission at REI to spend my dividend and of course, had the camera with me. Damn, but I'm wordy tonight. Here's the pic:
Spooky - this is my older son with "shooters" in his sleeves. The photo turned out kind of spooky looking after editing. Those eyes are kind of freaky.
