Cable crimps (number 1) is that hardest. I presume the last one is the remaining part of the chain links after you took away the plates.
Item 1 is actually the pegs (or pins) that come out of the chain links when I break them apart. Here's a closer picture of them: Bike Parts I Use. You are correct about the last item - they are the chain rollers between the chain plates. :D
Are cable crimps hollow with a hole in the tops? I need to look into those.
