Controlled burn. Barely a mile up the street from my house, I guess this house was condemned and they burnt it to the ground. Kind of sad - it's been there as long as I've lived in Fuquay...12 1/2 yrs.

Interesting that they burn houses to the ground rather than demolish them.

Pretty sure they do that for the fire fighters to train when possible.
